What is Rheumatology?
Rheumatology is a sub-specialty of internal medicine and pediatrics which is concerned with treating conditions affecting joints, connective tissue, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases, and vasculitis. In general, rheumatology comes into play in regards to any disorder regarding motion, bones, and muscles etc. This explain why we also specialize in osteoporosis, which is a condition characterized by a decrease in bone mass which can cause an assortment of complications.
